R.Missing - Like The Sound of Injured Love

New York duo R. Missing weave a hypnotic blend of darkwave, coldwave, and dreamy electronic pop on Like the Sound of Injured Love. Across eleven concise tracks, shadowy synth textures, understated vocals, and infectious electronic rhythms create an atmosphere that is equal parts nocturnal, melancholic, and strangely seductive. Moving between icy minimalism and hazy dream-pop sensibilities, songs like “Telepolartears,” “Dreamletting,” and “Let in the Night Outside” capture the duo's distinctive balance of emotional distance and dark romanticism. An alluring collection of modern dark electronic pop with a decidedly nocturnal soul.
