Rue Oberkampf - Wehmut

Munich’s Rue Oberkampf explore the delicate space between melancholy and nostalgia on Wehmut, a six-track journey through darkwave, atmospheric electronics, and shadowy folk influences. Inspired by the mysticism of the Bavarian Forest and the elemental force of the sea, the album moves between pulsing synths, haunting melodies, and immersive, organic textures. From the nocturnal allure of “Tonight” to the introspective drift of “Sonne” and the forest-shrouded darkness of “Into the Woid,” Wehmut finds beauty in longing, impermanence, and the spaces between memory and desire. Available on limited brown transparent vinyl in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with lyrics insert
