Winter Severity Index - The Brightest Days

Celebrating 15 years of Winter Severity Index, this release reunites the original lineup to revisit nine tracks from the Italian post-punk project's formative years. Five songs originally appeared on the band's self-released 2011 CDR, while four others—“The Brightest Days,” “No Will,” “Bianca,” and “Embracing the Void”—are reimagined from Slanting Ray. Rather than straightforward re-recordings, these new interpretations reflect fifteen years of artistic growth while retaining the urgency and emotional intensity of the original material. A compelling bridge between the band's origins and its evolution, this collection celebrates the enduring chemistry, friendship, and creative vision at the heart of Winter Severity Index.
